Smaragdi Hotel

The location was perfect and close to the Black Sand Beach. Also close to many shops and food spots. 10/10 would recommend. Breakfast for $8 is worth it if you’re a breakfast person, because the food places here don’t have many options for breakfast and is often more expensive.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. But, I wish the pool was open later for night time dips.

Loved the pool area where we got a couple drinks at night. Also liked that the beach was a short walk down the street.

Only bad thing from the stay was the WiFi. It was spotty in the room and often had to walk closer to the pool area to get better reception.

Our stay at Smaragdi Hotel was great! The driver who picked us up from the port was very nice and courteous. When we arrived the ladies at the reception desk were so friendly and welcoming. They upgraded us to a suite with a hot tub, and gave us a bottle of wine just because! The staff was so genuine that it gave the place a comfortable, homey feel. The hotel was just 1 block from the beach, for those who are beach lovers. There was a small market about 2-3 blocks away where we bought inexpensive drinks and snacks. Most of the major sights are not in the immediate area, but we arranged for tours online that picked us up either at the hotel or at the nearby market. Overall it was a wonderful visit

Great location near the beach, outside the city but only a 7 minute drive to the free parking at the fortress. Rooms where great, little kitchenette, and very comfy beds. Pool area was nice and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again.
