Penzion Pri Slovenc

The staff, the whole family who own the place and the pizzeria are really great! They were always helpful and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, welcomed and cared for and I loved them for that! They even helped me with my laundry, and took me to the BTC shopping center to get to know the city of Ljubljana. They provided me with the public transportation card (Urbana) and took me to a store to top it up and use it (I gave it back before I left for other travelers to use). They would prepare breakfast for me every morning and already knew how and what I'd eat as the days passed by. Their attentiveness and willingness to be helpful was really sweet. I'd stay there again, though I'd probably try to rent a car this time! hahaha.

I didn't know this beforehand, but the location is kind of secluded and there's only two bus stops about 15-20min walking either way. The buses pass about every 40-50min to either stop which makes it a bit inconvenient. There's not much to do in Pšata where the Pension is, it's a cute but really tiny town, that is why being able to move around is important; it's better if you can rent a car. I don't mind walking, it was mostly the time spent commuting that made it inconvenient. Also, maybe I'd suggest cleaning the carpets in the bedrooms more often, I think that'd be it. Other than that, the staff is incredibly sweet and helpful!!!!
