Hotel Bel Ami

the best part of the hotel is the location and its good breakfast

When i arrived at night on a prepaid reservation the reception staff tried to send me to another hotel nearby claiming the room had suffered damage and was unavailable. After a full day of travelling and not having received an advance notice of the "event" I suspected this was a trick used by an overçbooked hotel. I demanded to see the damages and this the supposed manager was unable to show me, so after a little voice raisingf on my part all of the sudden the room became available. I left that the hotel reception made to lie to me their paying customer . Two more managers emerged and during my short saty the hotel personel made me feel as if they had made me and my wife a favor by letting us stay in the hotel for which I had PREPAID my stay. I can only imagine if my reservation was not prepaid I would have been in the street looking for a hotel room

se estropeo el agua caliente un dia en la masñana y el hotel podria haber dado una disculpa.Algun detalle por el mal rato.Llame a la recepcion y me contestaron que no sabian a que hora se arreglaria.Habitacion demasiado pequeña.El desayuno caro.

Sympathetic environment. Very good location

Too expensive for what it is. There was no hot water in our room (room 406) and the concierge did nothing about it. We had to leave the next morning. Not a good experience. The room was very small and the price was huge. 570 euros, plus breakfast 50 euros for two......May I ask why?
