Swanky Mint Hostel

Social hostel located in the middle of town, although it was close the idea of a Private pool and nice bar at the hostel is nearly one of a kind.

Unfortunately with a few of the facilities closed most of my review will be based on the room. I stayed in the Kraftraum room (to the left of reception) quite a small room with the triple bunks. The ventilation in this room is non existent, and the room with sometimes 9 people the smell was unbearable. The only window in the room opens onto the bars terrace where people are smoking and yelling all night. When the windows were open the room resembled a nightclub and smelt like an ashtray. After the music quiets down around 2, the breakfast staff have the music back on from early. The staff at the hostel are nice and helpful, however they knew of the ventilation issues but were still booking the room and offering earplugs to counter the noise. It would go close to the worst hostel I’ve stayed in for nights rest, maybe the other rooms are nice but avoid Kraftraum at all costs.
