Horrible experience . Mentioned many times I didn't need extra insurance. I showed the representative what we had purchased. Additional insurance was added when we were exhausted, jetlagged and didn't understand what was being added..why didn't she listen to us. We spoke with management but if course they sided with the employee. We will not deal with Hertz again nor will we give positive recommendations for itOpinión del 30 ago 2023

The pick up was fine. They gave me an old and worn Chevy Tahoe after telling me there were no other options on the lot. When I went outside to find it, it was literally sitting next to a brand new model. I went back and said I preferred the new model and they let me switch, worked out in the end but very annoying.Opinión del 16 ago 2023

Car had dog hair and 3/4 tank of gas. But my paperwork said I had to return it full and would be charged if there was dog hair. I tried to talk to the Hertz agent about it when I checked out the car but the office door was locked and there was no one to walk the car with me. Then Hertz tried to charge my card a fee I did not authorize when I returned. Poor service. I went with Hertz because I thought it a reputable company. There was a mix up about where to pick up the rental, but once I got to the correct location, the staff was very friendly & helpful. The car was dirty and scratched up, but it got us to where we needed to be and it was the perfect size for 4 travelers.Opinión del 18 jul 2023

I showed up at Denver international. The car was in downtown Denver 30 miles away. Hertz said 3 party always does this to save money. I ended up paying an additional 40 dollars a day for the car. Not my best experience. KyleOpinión del 11 jul 2023

Though the establishment was understaffed, the lady at the desk was committed to ensuring we were served well. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the car. It wasn't the cleanest rental out there, but it wasn't the worst either. Car drove well. Clerk said this was due to staffing shortages and they didn't have the personnel to adequately clean the cars. The car smelled very smoky for all four days I had it. After I returned it (on a holiday) I was charged $50 and told it hadn’t been returned for two days. It took multiple phone calls with a long wait time to resolve. It was very difficult to get to a person to answer my questions on the phone.Opinión del 8 jul 2023

I'm renting for business and had to cancel my flight but canceling KY rental resulting in costing me $100 and the rental for a week was only $280. Bad business. I will not use hertz for my rental needs.Opinión del 29 jun 2023
