Ventajas: I cannot commend the staff enough as they were polite, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Now we had to pay a little extra for the sea view as you would expect, but the room had a panoramic view and was was well worth it. It was a very good size and the large bed was extremely comfortable. I will certainly be back and would rate The Grand higher that the "luxury" 5 star hotels in the big cities.

Ventajas: All staff are most pleasant, courteous and professional. Food and restaurant service is of a very high quality. There are ample and well furnished areas for quiet relaxation with attentive though not intrusive waiter staff. Most rooms are fairly compact but adequate for short stays although the customer may upgrade if he or she wishes. We have stayed here and held private functions on previous occasions and never had the least cause for complaint.

Ventajas: The location is very good, right on the sea front with public parking on the roads around the hotel. My stay was off season, so the hotel was quiet, and we were actually discouraged from spending our money in the hotel! The comment from the eastern european staff member behind the bar/reception "I wouldn't recommend the beer, the pumps haven't been used for a while" made us decide to eat (and drink) elsewhere. He even gave us directions. However, the breakfast was very good and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The showers are also great.

Excellent breakfast - service and food. Live natural yoghurt, and tasty proper sausages. Very cosy, and a traditional British seaside hotel. It was very helpful for the hotel to supply parking vouchers for street parking outside.

Ventajas: The staff were very friendly and particularly so as they had only just opened (we were their first guests!!) but clearly the hotel was not quite ready so in the circumstances they coped very well! We look foward to an anniversary invite!!!
