Ventajas: This was an excellent hotel, clean and cosy. Breakfast was first class. Highly recommended.

Desventajas: Unfortunately it was not as close to the airport as we thought but that was our fault and even this will not stop us booking again the future.

Ventajas: Although our taxi driver had a few problems to find the correct location of the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find everything as pictured on the website. All rooms and especially the lounge were very tastefully decorated and radiated calm and peacefulness. We (3 couples) were made to feel very comfortable from the first to the last minute. The bedrooms were well appointed with lots of attention to detail. In spite of the smallness (4 rooms) Margarita made sure that we got a 5-star service including being able to enjoy a night cap late in the evening and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommendable.

Ventajas: The room was beautiful - spacious, very comfortable bed and lovely soft towels, and very tasteful decor. Our host was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good indeed. The area is quiet and there is free parking on site.

Desventajas: The blinds don't block out the light completely, so if you are sensitive to light out well wake you early in the morning.

Ventajas: What a beautiful little place! It seems like it’s far from the airport but it’s quite close! Maybe 5-8 min drive. They arrange a private taxi company which is way cheaper. The host was so lovely and kind. Fresh baked cookies in the room with water. The dinner menu was fabulous! Overall I would stay here again!

Desventajas: Algo caro para estar un poco perdido en medio de la nada. No hay Indicaciones para encontrarlo, un poco complicado llegar, sobre todo si vas de noche.

Ventajas: El desyuno es muy completo y la habitacion muy comoda e igual a las imagenes que mostraban en la pagina. Me parecio un lugar magico para descansar.

Desventajas: llegar es un poco lioso y no esta muy bien indicado, la zona son carreteras rurales y sin luz. yo llegue por la noche y me costó un poco localizarlo.

Desventajas: The bedroom single deluxe. The sleeping area bed plus approx foot was length of the room. Very boxed in. For me the main issue noise of aircraft . Due to very close to property even with windows and door shut. Therefore had trouble sleeping. Shame with all the plus points above.

Disfrutamos tanto de nuestra estancia que estamos inspirados a volver de nuevo y explorar más de Inglaterra. Esto fue un despido de España que se dirigía de regreso a Canadá. Una noche en el Curious Pig En el salón nos ha dado algunos recuerdos muy gratos. Les decimos a nuestros amigos de nuestra estancia allí. Sabemos que algún día volveremos.

Desventajas: Service was poor, nobody available to check out in the morning and we were keen to get to the airport asap. They also advertise that their kitchen takes orders until 10pm and we were arriving late (9:40) and starving but when we got there they said the kitchen was closed and they couldn't even offer a sandwich. Staff were not particularly friendly.

Desventajas: Being woke by the fire alarm (twice) was annoying, especially since they were from candles in a guest room and they had been warned by the Staff. Nothing against Sandman staff but it was frustrating and inconvenient.

Ventajas: Location and friendly staff. I went fo ra walk in the morning to return to my room and my Key would not work, when I returned to reception they were very apologetic and renewed my key.

Ventajas: My expectations may have been low, but that was based on a preconception of the brand, and concerns because it was so ridiculously cheap. In actual fact the room was surprisingly spacious, and very comfortable indeed. To get that, a bar with friendly staff and (relatively decent) breakfast included at the price I paid is outstanding value for money.

Desventajas: You'd need something wrong with you to have many gripes at this price. For the sake of being constructive, maybe turn the lighting down in the bar a little?!

Desventajas: We were placed in a room that was immediately next to the elevator and above the lobby which seemingly doubled as a smoking and drinking shelter long into the night. When raising it with staff they were unapologetic and simply told us they couldn’t do anything to move our room as they had oversubscribed and had to turn people away. In the end we had to call reception at about 11pm and ask for them to do something about the noise outside which only brought it indoors. Would never stay again.

Desventajas: You know, I would have to dig to find them, say for instance, the eggs and sausages were not hot, hot, they were well warm - but this is not a complaint, it is the reality of the situation and I am so thankful to have a breakfast. There was not room safe, but we didn't leave any valuables in the room anyhow. Oh, no bus service to the hotel.

Nos dieron habitaciones de no fumador cuando habíamos pedido fumador.

Normal 1-5 station bbc itv etc about 4-5 sport then the rest seemed to be movie selection which had to be paid for a sure money maker for motel company given that there is a great many free channels that could be included 2 No heater in bathroom, and as there is air extraction it makes it cold 3 We were only given 1 'card key' and have to insert card into a card reader that lets you have power to room hence when one leaves the room and takes card key to go out for a meal etc all power is cut off, so room goes cold....not good 4 No info in room regarding local eating venues 5 No radio/ alarm clock by bed 6 No spare blanket in case of cold etc 7 As the motel shares parking with Harvester eating venue there may be on busy nights a lack of parking

Ventajas: Room was clean, comfortable and pleased that a kettle and tea were provided. Breakfast was more than adequate. Room was your best point.

Desventajas: Check-in was nothing short of a disaster. I waited 55minutes before getting to the desk to check-in. There was only on person on duty and her workload was overwhelming. She had problems with your booking system and as the queue to check-in built, we were asked to take a seat and wait, while she worked hard to cope with every other enquiry that the hotel had. But, I have to stress she was doing her best and maintained as a polite of attitude as she could, despite angry customers. You must have at least two people on the desk at busy time and I blame you management rather that the girl on the desk. Not Good at all.

Desventajas: The only downside is the parking. If you are driving a Range Rover or big car don’t go on to upper parking its a night mare right ,square corners , tight space to ramp , no warning signs of this , you only realise when you turn to go up the ramp. Top of car park wall no protection on wall so scrapes car as space so tight to get round.

Ventajas: El alojamiento está muy cerca del aeropuerto,si vas al hotel en taxi te costará 15£. Nosotros volviamos de un vuelo transcontinental y para descansar nos fue genial. Tienen servicio de restaurante que está muy bien. Un autobús te lleva por 4£ de vuelta a Gatwick desde la puerta( los menores no pagan). Para una escala es perfecto.

Ventajas: The front desk manager, who is on duty on Sept 21 & 23 morning, is very considerate and helpful. He help us arrange the transportation and give us advice on our schedule. We appreciate him very much.

Desventajas: Staffs are totally not helpful when I am checking in . When I leave the hotel back to Gatwick airport , they did not teach me to go to the nearby bus stop .... I bought the tickets from them for the buses ... but finally cannot use it since I cannot find the bus stop.

Desventajas: Checking in was a trial. My hearing is not good but I cope if people speak up. The receptionist Kelly) needs training in how to deal with people who have impaired hearing. She would not raise her voice and eventually a customer who was being attended to by another receptionist started telling me what she was saying.

Ventajas: Our room had been booked in May 2019, someone changed the room we booked,not the hotel owners, we order two rooms two beds one down one up, the downstairs one was for a handicapped lady who cannot do stairs, the owners had to move beds to put another in there, they did their best to help, see this does not happen again

Ventajas: welcomed on arrival as expected, as stayed here before. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good didn't feel rushed - you have to pre order night before - this is good practice so not too much waste and no disappointed customers. I understand that the hotel covers events from wedding receptions,birthdays and even funeral wakes which makes for good business. Wish them all the luck for the future.

Desventajas: Bathrooms could possibly do with some updating in the future but understand new managers are trying to improve things, also the rear car park surface requires some remedial works.

Whilst cheap for the area compared with hotels, this is a rip off at £60 a night. Dirty noisy fridge bunged on a shelf, wrinkled piece of cheap shower curtain. Stained bedding. Shabby furnishings. I steered clear of breakfast. Worse still, do not stay here as a single female traveller. My room opened up to the street, it was not in the house. Very insecure. Drunk lying on the pavement opposite in the evening. Found dodgy looking man right outside my window at 7am. Waiting for a taxi I was approached by him and 2 other seedy individuals. Horrible experience.

Desventajas: The walk from check in to the room is very long but it is a rambling hotel. The room was very warm and couldn't cool it without opening the window onto the parking lot.

Ventajas: Bar was very pricey

Ventajas: Although the hotel is close to Gatwick it is one junction down the motorway and as a result aircraft noise is not a problem. The restaurant is excellent and good value for an airport hotel. The menu is well balanced and the Italian Restaurant Manager very professional as was our waitress Alina. The breakfast was also excellent with top quality ingredients being used for the cooked breakfast. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Desventajas: The hotel is in serious need of refurbishment is many areas and a cosmetic touch up will not sort this out. Carpeting is seriously northern 1950's and our velour clad bed headboard was more homely than hotel like. The absence of a lift to the first floor is a serious issue for guests with heavy cases and we had the bad luck to have a room a long way down a long corridor. The young man on reception did however willingly leave his post to take our cases to the room. The lack of air-conditioning is another issue since having arrived from the 30 degree heat of southern Italy we were baked in our room (411). Windows have opening limiters to prevent accidents and suicides and we could only cool the room by wedging our door open to allow a through draft from the corridor. Having said all this I still enjoyed my stay and I hope my criticisms are taken as constructive and I will stay here again if the hotel will have me.

Ventajas: Have stayed many times over the years. Arrived back from the states, receptionist Pippa got us into our room early. Relaxed in the gardens, enjoyed the food and drinks in the evening.

Ventajas: Wonderful ambience, old world English country Inn, the Swan. Staff was superb. Always enjoy stsying there. Very convenient shuttle bus to Gatwick Airport.

Desventajas: The Frajitas in the White Swan Inn was miss named. Presented like a Frajita, but taste was straight out of India, with Tandoory Chicken and sauce. But enjoyed, as I like Indian food.

Ventajas: We will definitely use this hotel again. Restaurant was lovely. Perfect stay over for Gatwick airport.

Desventajas: Everything. Room was perfect. Staff were wonderful.

Desventajas: Lack of crucial information from Reception Staff re Room Keys and Lights No Shower Cubic!es in any rooms! Self Service for Breakfast, difficult for an old lady with a walking stick, and no one offering to help. At her previous visit she was served at the table by willing staff.pr

Ventajas: A lovely B&B. Big rooms! Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Plenty of parking area...which is free for the stay. Nice & quiet with good pub & food very close. Unlimited coffee & tea in lounge area with proper milk in the fridge. Nice breakfast. Cooked to order. Decent value again. Really friendly & helpful receptionist. New to job at Da Vinci & is so nice to all the guests. Very impressed with the value of this stay as airport hotels & B&Bs are normally very expensive & not so well looked after. Quick drive to Gatwick. I recommend to other travellers needing accommodation in the area.

Desventajas: The bed was uncomfortable. The bedding seemed worn and not fresh. I put a towel on my pillow because I didn't want to rest my face on the pillow case.

Desventajas: My daughter, who is a property manager, complained about the cleanliness of the bathroom. As I have known the hotel for 60/70 years I was sad that it is no longer The George I used to know, but it was nice to be back and to show my daughter where my husband and I had our wedding reception and where things used to be that don't exist now.

Desventajas: Rooms need updating, cleanliness poor but location is good.

Desventajas: La dirección fue un poco difícil de encontrar en el primer momento. Creo que cerca de la estación de trenes debería haber alguna propaganda indicativa. En la habitación teníamos la posibilidad de prepararnos café ó té y una adecuada provisión de ambos; pero la provisión de sólidos (galletitas) era un poco escasa.

Ventajas: Neat old hotel. The room was ok considering what I paid. Location is very central and there is lots to do in the area.

Desventajas: Room had a funny smell and was stuffy. Had to carry heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Information in room said luggage assistance is available, but it’s a bit late when we have already carried it up. It would have been nice for the desk clerk to offer assistance. The little things that make a hotel stay special, eg shower caps etc was lacking. It is good value for money, but you get what you pay for.

Desventajas: Bit dated. Entrance of Sussex Wing needs smartening up. Triple room had a double and single instead of 3 singles / bit of a shock but we coped!!!!

Limpieza excelente, tanto de baños como de camas y habitación en general. Personal muy amable y siempre a disposición. Entorno del hotel encantador.

Desventajas: There was an overwhelming smell of dog in the room. We couldn’t speak to staff due to the time of night returning late following a wedding. We left and put the key in the safe box.

Ventajas: The main reason we chose this hotel was for its location near to GATWICK airport for our flight very early the next morning. This hotel was perfect for our needs, and was in very pleasant surroundings. We were also able to leave our car at the hotel for the duration of our holiday at a very reasonable cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they even pre booked our taxi for us for 3.45am next morning.. We would happily book another stay.
