Long list of deficiencies: NO SMOKING sign at elevator, but ash trays in every room and stink of smoke in hallways and rooms (second time here). Big stain on bathroom floor, frayed towels, water leak in bathroom ceiling and broken light fixture. Very hard bed. All but two pool chairs broken and unusable, pool deck in poor repair. hotel lobby hasn't been rennovated in decades and has makeshift "shops" set up like a downscale outdoor market. Really unsightly and poorly stocked too. This place definitely survives because it is at the foot of the BTS stop. The walk in price is posted at reception as 1200bt, or $36, which is grossly overpriced in the Bankok market.
