Ventajas: The location is great. Right around the corner from the V&A and the Natural History Museum. Across the street from the Tube, and surrounded by great restaurants. This was the perfect home base for a weekend in London. The decor was charming and whimsical, sort of Alice in Wonderland with lots of bright colors and a bird theme which ran through the hotel. Our room was small as most London Hotels are, and finding a place to stow the luggage was a bit of a hat trick, but once we figured it out, everything was great. Although we never had breakfast at the hotel, we did have morning coffee and tea in the tea room every day. Delightful. Would return in an instant!

Ventajas: The hotel is truly lovely. I think we had the smallest room there which I booked unknowingly. But it worked just fine. The bed was so comfy. There were slippers and robes and the bathroom floor was heated. The daily tea was also very nice. I can't write enough to explain how exceptional the hotel, staff and location were. You will have to try it for yourself. Overall I plan to go back to London and stay here again.

Ventajas: I loved pretty much everything about the hotel. I stayed there twice in September. It was gorgeous inside, extremely well located near the South Kensington tube and nearby pubs and restaurants in Chelsea, the staff was simply wonderful and the rooms were pretty and very comfortable. Also loved the front room where you can grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine, and the breakfast room downstairs. The free water, juices and soft drinks provided in the bar fridge were a nice touch.

Also loved the front room where you can grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine, and the breakfast room downstairs. The free water, juices and soft drinks provided in the bar fridge were a nice touch.
Desventajas: The gym was very well appointed in terms of weights, towels and free water but the space was too small in my view, it needed to be at least double the size as only 2-3 people would comfortably fit. Equally, the smaller hotel rooms (where my sisters stayed) have limited space if you are staying for more than 2 nights, but the hotel reception kindly advised us of this beforehand.

Desventajas: The rooms are not very sound proof we had extremely loud neighbors several nights. More of business hotel. There were not many things to help tourists book restaurants or get around. The staff didn't have guidance on hop on hop off buses or tours. We figured it out on our own but I think in other hotels there is more help for that type of thing.

Inmobiliario muy anticuado, la insonorización pésima. La tele no funcionaba correctamente, la moqueta tenia manchas ( que probablemente no se podían eliminar). La conexión de internet muy mala y lenta. La puerta del baño no se cerraba. Pienso que el hotel, en su día fue un muy buen hotel de cinco estrellas, pero ha día de hoy necesita un reforma de inmobiliario, no puedes pagar un hotel de cinco estrellas cuando hay de cuatro mejores que este.

Ventajas: This year was my turn to take charge of our Anniversary surprise - I knew I wanted to do a romantic night out London and wanted an extra special room to make the night even more magical so I booked a stay in the Drop dead Gorgeous splash suit. It really was drop dead gorgeous! It exceeded all my expectations in every way, my partner was speechless as we were shown around our room. The room was beautifully decorated; balloons and petals were put in our room which we appreciated so much. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hot tub in the room was highlight of the night. It was so warm and cosy. The bed was so comfortable - We both slept like babies and had a wonderful breakfast in the morning to end our stay. I have been bombarded with messages asking about this room and have highly recommended it to every single person. Thank you so much for making our night so special! Hope to visit again!

Ventajas: I liked the hotel a lot! First of all, it is super cute and stylish! I really liked how it is designed! My room was small, but I felt very comfortable staying there. Making the reservation I requested a “Green Room” and a hotel’s assistant responded momentarily, answered all my questions and promised me to follow up on all my requests. Everything was finally done. I really liked the bathroom. It had a big bathtub and very nice shower cabin. Bath amenities were of high quality! An additional plus was daily complementary water and snacks. I found the hotel’s location great. It is just across the street from the Natural History Museum, 10 min by walk from Kensington Gardens/Hide Park. It is a pretty easy walk to Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. The metro station is also right next to the hotel.

Walking distance within few minutes you can find self-service laundry, 24 hours convenience store, restaurants and bars, and most importantly the Earl’s Court metro station that brings you to everywhere. The breakfast is good although not many varieties, it’s sufficient to me! Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good stay!

Desventajas: I didn’t have breakfast included in my booking which was fine, I paid for my breakfast and after getting my breakfast the host asked me for my room number, he then came back and told me it wasn’t included very rudely, I then gave him my receipt and he continued to yell at me so I gave him my receipt again and he just said oh, no sorry or anything. But still a lovely breakfast just didn’t feel very welcome

Ventajas: Fantástica ubicación cerca de la estación Victoria.
Desventajas: Nos dieron una habitación en una zona anexo al otro lado de la calle del edificio principal. Era muy pequeña y probablemente merecería calificaciones diferentes a las habitaciones de la casa principal. Un poco de cebo y cambio. Desde luego, no parecía que las habitaciones anunciaban en su sitio web.

Ventajas: Everything is great. Location is superb very close to Victoria Coach Station and Victoria Station. Room is big for London standard and beautifully decorated. The mattress, pillows and duvet are very comfortable. The towels and robes are plush and soft. The toiletries are of high quality from The White Company London. Breakfast spread is very generous too.

Desventajas: noise isolation is not the best, it's a good thing it's in a quiet location , but still work in the street ( garbage disposal or something ) in the street outside woke my wife up some days ( we were in the 4th floor) mattress was a bit too hard for our taste ( we didn't complain about any of these to the hotel staff ... it could be that they could have done something not sure)

Desventajas: They have 2 breakfast options: continental or hot English. We had a continental included in the price. There is a special person that instructs each guest on which breakfast they are entitled to have and that the hot breakfast is extra. Not very classy... I have a feeling they spend more money doing that and creating a negative vibe, as opposed to letting everyone have some scrambled eggs (how much can they cost?) and a good impression of the hotel.

Desventajas: I m astonished that the Grosvenor has never installed entrance/exit ramps. At the Buckingham Palace Street entrance there is a flight of around 8 steps to reach the revolving entry door and there are an even larger number at the Victoria Station exit. And no there is not a porter very often available to assist. Lovely old hotel, superior location, gracious responsive staff, extensive good value buffet breakfast - but an absolute bear to get into!

Desventajas: I tried to change my booking for breakfast in the morning and that seemed an issue, also directly above me the fire alarm was blinking and kept me up during the early morning. Then the fire alarm went off - luckily only for a minute or so - but when I came down nobody told me anything about what had happened which I thought was strange.

Ventajas: The best thing about this hotel is the location to most things in the center of London. There are many restaurants and stores in the area also. The tube stop is down the street.
Desventajas: We stayed for 5 nights. We left a note after the first night asking for a couple of maintenance related things (light in bathroom was out and tub and sink was slighlt clogged). We also requested some wash cloths. Good for 3 days, not for 2.

Desventajas: Beware of the £50 per NIGHT holding fee they charge as I didn’t see any detail on this when I booked. They also don’t refund it until 5-7 days after you check out which I also wasn’t made aware of until three follow up calls after. The room was also a bit shabby which I normally wouldn’t mind as we are real it’s just a place to rest your head people and are rarely in our room anywhere we go but it was an occasion stay and the room had very obvious paint touch ups needed and the staff weren’t rude by any means but not overly helpful or friendly either and I found being told to go sit down when ordering at the bar and then being charged a table service fee very strange.

Desventajas: The furniture was dated and old. The chair did not feel solid and everything in the room looked and felt like it was at least 15 years old and had not been updated. The bathroom (whilst a good size) had a musty smell to it, which added to the feeling that this place needed an upgrade. The TV had very few channels on it (Freeview has more variety) and i couldn't even find the basic channels like BBC, ITV etc. There was very little room for hanging clothes since half the width of the (door-less) handing space was take up by the ironing board. The AC was very strong and the fan speed at its lowest was high. Trying to turn the temperature up or down was useless, you just get the same cool temperature. Not worth the price at all!! There are hotels in the area less than 5 minutes walk at a lower cost and significantly better than this.

I read that breakfast is for 6 pounds and I think it's good value for money. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, there is a lot of place under the shower. Hyde Park is some 10-15 minutes walking from hostel, Notting Hill is also very close.

Desventajas: NEVER accept room 011 please. What I dislike is that the guests can remove all the silence in the whole coming in and out the hotel - as they may think this underground room cannot be with guest but a laundry or equipment room. -hope it is just because I picked the worst room 011. Nothing good except the bed- which must be available in all the rooms. And, we ordered the breakfast + dinner package for the two days while got a surprise day by day the canteen were reserved by some group from 18:00-21:00, and I was forced to take two late dinners around 21:30, without earlier warning. Too bad a service. It is a problem of management. It is my first score giving under 8, sadly.

Ahora normalmente esto no me habría molestado pero teníamos una ventana que no se cerraba bien así que era bastante ruidosa. También un montón de puertas "molonas" en nuestra planta, la mayoría de la noche así que una noche en efecto muy ruidosa. Es una pena porque nos alojamos en este hotel antes y nos dieron una habitación fantástica pero esta vez no fue la mejor.

Hyde park is just opposite the hotel, and you can easily walk your way towards Oxford Street where all the major shopping outlets are present. The staff is also very helpful. The rooms are cozy. Ventajas: The location is ideal for access to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens as well as its proximity to the Central Line. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the essential amenities, including a mini-refrigerator. The reception staff are always pleasant and helpful, and the housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The Corus Hyde Park provides excellent value for the price, especially compared to comparable hotels in London.

Desventajas: Temperature of the room was horrible - we had the aircon on the whole time but we were always so hot. We tried to open the window to allow for fresh air but we could only open it slightly so that didn’t help. There was no room fridge. The tv is very small...which I guess we didn’t mind so much as we were out most of the time. Make sure you pay for the room upfront. They will hold the cost of the room until the end of the stay and say it will only take 3-5 days to transfer back...but we found out it can take up to 10days which doesn’t help when you’re travelling on a budget!! The room wasn’t that clean we kept finding hairs all over the place...which is just gross.

Ventajas: The location is ideal for access to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens as well as its proximity to the Central Line. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the essential amenities, including a mini-refrigerator. The reception staff are always pleasant and helpful, and the housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The Corus Hyde Park provides excellent value for the price, especially compared to comparable hotels in London.
Desventajas: The bathroom could have used another towel rack, and there were a few nicks and scrapes in the furniture and paint that could have been touched up.

Desventajas: Habitaciones y baño muy pequeñas. Era casi imposible vestirse, abrir maleta y casi hasta que respirar si había alguien despierto. Las camas muy pequeñas también, baño pequeño, no había un lugar donde relajarse después de patear la ciudad... A ver para echar una noche de paso quizás haga el apaño, pero yo vista mi experiencia.... No volvería.

So many towels, the shower and bathroom was very modern! everything looked like it was very well looked after also - cleaners and house keeping obviously doing a very good job! The location is brilliant literally like a two minute walk from the tube to the hotel and so easy to get around! We personally didn’t use the bar or order any room service etc so unable to make comment. Shower was really good and powerful!

Desventajas: The mattress was very ‘spring-y’ it wasn’t the greatest nights sleep, woke up with sore backs and hips. We were also in the basement although we did pay for a windowless room i’m not sure what we expected but it was still a lovely room. the constant noise you could hear also wasn’t the best throughout the night!

Desventajas: Rooms were not clean. Carpet is filthy and needs to be removed, The comforters all smelled and the duvet covers do not get replaced when you leave. I changed rooms while I was there. Upon leaving you to leave the comforter douvet on the bed and the next person reuses it. The only f you ask they will give you a fresh one but the comforter still smell they need to be replaced immediately.

Desventajas: I've found maked fake reservations on mine behalf. They cancel these bookings after they have taken the money from the debit card you gave them. For one day i payed 3 times. Two time on my first debit card. One time them reservation first debit card(i didn't know nothing). One time i payed again whit my first debit card (my booking on booking.com). They have cancelled the two reservation (One true and one fake...) after take me money for two times into my first debit card. For sleep that night, i did must pay again whit my fisical (second) debit card £ 14.71. The price whit my reservation was £ 12.87. Them refund my only 12.87 tell me that i have payed another day...that i've payed whit cash.

Desventajas: Como siempre es el caso, una habitación pequeña, mala conexión wi-fi, televisión y baño mediocres, no hay nevera ni minibar, ni aire acondicionado.

Ventajas: Everything else! I couldn't try breakfast because I had to leave early to go to the T.V. studios in Gray's Inn Road.
Desventajas: There was a noisy lift by my room, there was a noisy old man next door and constant trains going by, but I did sleep! The water extractor in the sink wasn't working so I had to leave dirty water in the sink.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones y las instalaciones sufrían de cualquier edad o de un diseño deficiente. A veces ambos. Tuve que pasar mucho tiempo en los cafés, porque la habitación no tenía una toma eléctrica para cargar mi teléfono. La única ventilación en la habitación era desde una ventana abierta, exponiéndote a todo tipo de ruido de tráfico durante toda la noche.

Desventajas: Nada, es todo pésimo , ojalá no se fuera a alojar nadie mas ahí, porque echaría a perder su estancia en el país ,como ocurrió conmigo ,el dormitorio horrible , publicidad engañosa con la habitación y las fotos que mostraban , la cama se salian los resortes , la alfombra pegoteada de suciedad un asco!! Ni muerta volveria a ese lugar tan espantoso ,el desayuno corriente nada de otro mundo, las duchas y baños hediondos a orina , muy mal mantenido y para que decir recepción unos pesados un tipo y una tipa española ultra desagradable que parece que la cara les llegaba al suelo , nada de amabilidad cero interaccion con el huesped ,para mas colmo me sacaron de la pieza una noche antes de mi check in , lo unico bueno de eso, esq me bajaron la maleta desde el 5 piso por las escaleras , ahh porq no hay ascensor ni una dusculpa dieron por la falla de sistema , pero parece q es costumbre hacer eso leía por ahí , Londres es bello y en medio de la belleza está esta pudrición , mal mal mal mal .. no vayan . Mi error fue no leer comentarios de huespedes , no aparecian , y ahora entiendo porq , De ante mano ,gracias

Hotel was under construction but you only new that when you turn up. Very dirty, and we paid for breakfast, it was in a basement with no windows and two baskets, one with bread and croissant, butter. Cheap cornflakes and coffee erne that was nasty.

Desventajas: Dependencias del hotel sucio, se entiende que éste en remodelación pero las áreas que estan habilitadas para los huéspedes como recepción , ascensor también estaban sucias y con materiales de construcción o ropa de cama y de baño. Tampoco esta cerrado el paso de los huéspedes hacia las áreas que se encuentran en remodelación y vi a varios huéspedes perderse en el acceso y tomar las escaleras que no estan en habilitadas (sucias y con escombros de construcción) Habitación limpia pero la mitad de los enchufes electricos malos , cama sin frazadas y no había televisión en la habitación

Desventajas: ...Absolutely nothing like the pictures posted on booking.com .. this had nothing to do with the renovations going on.. our room was one that had been done.. a double bed and two small bedside cupboards absolutely nothing else!! No tv no lamps no cupboards/wardrobes no facilities at all.. there was a cable (not sure if it was live I wasn’t going to touch it to find out) hanging under the mirror that fell of the wall when the bathroom door closed considering it’s just been done it wasn’t nice at all sticky labels on the windows. No radiator so was cold all night no quilt just a sheet and one blanket The door didn’t lock it didn’t fit the catch properly!!! The breakfast was in a dark dirty cellar no hot food just bread rolls and croissants that’s your lot.. stewed tea and coffee in canisters that weren’t even hot. To be fair if there had been hot food I wouldn’t have eaten it the kitchen staff where untidy and wearing flip flops!! Not very hygienic to say the least. It was dirty and unpleasant I had to remove cups and plates then wipe the table myself before we could sit down staff were untidy and unhelpful and didn’t speak very good English I would not recommend this place at all to anyone.
